Step-by-Step Setup Guide

1. Unbox and Connect

Unbox your Ledger Nano X or Ledger Nano S Plus and connect it to your computer or mobile device using the provided cable. When prompted, power it on and follow the instructions on the screen. The Ledger device will guide you through the initial setup process.

2. Visit Ledger.com/Start

Open your browser and go to Ledger.com/Start. This is the official Ledger setup portal. Download the Ledger Live app for your platform (Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, or Android).

3. Install Ledger Live

Ledger Live is your all-in-one crypto management dashboard. Once installed, open the app and click “Get Started.” The application will detect your device and guide you through configuration.

4. Create or Restore a Wallet

Choose between creating a new wallet or restoring an existing one using your 24-word recovery phrase. Never share your recovery phrase with anyone. Write it down and store it offline in a secure location.

5. Install Apps and Add Accounts

Once your wallet is ready, use Ledger Live to install crypto apps (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum) on your device. Then, add your accounts to start managing your crypto portfolio securely.
